Rare pair of vintage French Sarreguemines majolica cachepots in a caramel color with a trompe l’oeil basketweave pattern. Lovely to display greenery, topiaries, or flower arrangements on an entryway console table, sofa table or similar. They would also make a much-appreciated gift for a plant lover, gardener. or someone with a taste for vintage French majolica. Fully marked on the underside with the ‘Sarreguemines et Digoin’ printed mark used after 1920, large, impressed SARREGUEMINES FRANCE and number 5044-2. In very good condition as shown.
