We are delighted to offer this stunning Victorian, spiral Corinthian pillar oil lamp with ruby glass shade I have a suite of seven Victorian oil lamps, all the others are listed under my other items including one pair The lamp has a traditional Italian Corinthian pillared base which has a nice spiral detail to it. The shade is original and the main outer shade is Ruby glass The condition is very nice, it has been fully restored and I assume that with a bit of oil it would work just fine. What the previous owner / restorer told me was they work wonderfully with those little battery operated tea light candles Dimensions Height:- 75.5cm Width:- 19.5cm Depth:- 19.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
