A Victorian Cast Iron Stable Horse Name Plate, made from cast iron with a removable painted panel, with the name ‘Forager’ with the original red paint, this piece remains in complete original condition. C1880
These plates were hung outside the horses’ stable with the name of the horse it belonged to, a really lovely piece of equestrian memorabilia.
