Large Bohemian Dish in Glazed Clay from Soufflenheim, 1930s

This large glazed earthenware dish is a traditional and usual Soufflenheim ceramic production. The piece is decorated with a bouquet and stylized plant elements in a frieze. A rustic piece, with a deep and authentic experience, it will perhaps become a decorative piece, in a bohemian and wabi sabi spirit, a large storage compartment or will be used again in the kitchen to place Mamama’s recipes.
The dish is in glazed earthenware, very decorated. Old, it is a typical Alsatian production from Soufflenheim. The piece is heavily patinated over the years.
