Contemporary Design
This copper centerpiece or fruit bowl is model Colosseum I; part of the collection New Roman by Jaime Hayon, a series of containers which reference the shapes of ancient carafes, plates, and the large amphorae storage vessels. Inspired by the vessels of the Roman Empire, this collection transforms antique references into a celebration of contemporary craft. New Roman also includes Colosseum II (all silver-plated), and Colosseum III (copper and silver-plated).
