moreChinese blue and white porcelain ginger jars in the late Qing Dynasty had double happiness patterns.
The jar’s body is decorated with cobalt blue underglaze flowers, with double happiness symbols on the front and back, and later generations added a mahogany lid.
From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, blue and white happy jars are very typical and common objects. Although most of them belong to private kilns, it is not easy to preserve them well. In Chinese weddings, happy jars with lids are custom-made, and they are placed in pairs on the table as decorations. They are very meaningful objects. Today it is also the first choice for new collectors of Chinese antique porcelain.
It has different looks, see the last photo, and they are more decorative when placed in a group less
