Vintage Design
It was made of stained glass and brass, in a Czech manufactory. A beautiful vessel with a round, tapered form. It is decorated with a pink-colored mass in the form of spheres and decorated with an ornament consisting of simple lines. A simple brass funnel with a lid and a delicate handle complete the composition.
The presented item is a high-class example of Art Nouveau glass from the Czech lands. Original design, experimenting with texture and high-quality workmanship characterize the products of this period.
The Czech Republic was one of the main producers of Art Nouveau glass. The products of Czech glassworks such as Johann Loetz Witwe, Pallme König & Habel or Wilhelm Kralik Sohn revealed an innovative approach to form and material, creating a separate trend in art.
