Antique George III quality mahogany longcase clock by Dan Williams of Crickhowell having a shaped pediment with three original turned mahogany finials above an arched glazed and mahogany door opening to reveal a painted arched dial with a dummy winder and the original 30 hour movement striking on the hour and half hour on a bell and flanked by attractive rope twist pillars. The short trunk mahogany crossbanded door is flanked by freestanding rope twist pillars above a crossbanded mahogany base raised on ogee shaped bracket feet. A very attractive example having a marvelous colour and in good working order. Measures: H 227cm W 51cm D 25.5cm Date 1820.
