Monumental boulle clock Napoleon III, circa 1850-70 fireplace clock salon clock pendule fireplace clock. Wooden housing in boulle technique Shieldpade lined with brass, side windows, with rich fire-gilt bronze decoration. Case crowned by full-blown figure of a winged trumpet player, back-vaulted glass cover, reliefed brass. with inserted enamel cartridges for Roman hours, sig. E. Gübelin loc. Lucerne, a half-hour strike on the sound spring.
