19th Century Edwardian Oak Tray Silverplate Mount Handles

Marked HC & Co. S, the trademark of Hammond, Creake & Co., a silversmith active in Sheffield (1886-1935) whose early specialty was oak-mounted pieces. Perfect to use as an open bar, display decanters, place on an ottoman or similar. Center cartouche is free of any monograms and inscriptions. An elegant yet informal piece that will fit into a wide range of decors, from classic to contemporary. In very good condition with minor imperfections as shown.
