1980s Vintage French Open-Toe Iron Bed Frame

Absolutely captivating, that strikes a great balance, of rough hewn cast iron ‘pills’, graceful curving rod irons, finished in a satin clear coat with a smoke black glaze coat over the cast iron filial and splatter effect over the interior rod work.

Hx- This is a high quality, estimated 1980’s reproduction. It benefits from modern pressed in bolt receivers, lock washers and lock nuts, that makes for a super stiff, heavy duty frame, that’s completely silent, no matter how many monkeys are jumping on it.
It was obtained by way of a storage unit clear out.
