Vintage 1970s Milo Baughman Zig Zag coffee table. Original smoked glass. Good vintage condition consistent with age and use. Glass has several small chips on the underside that are not visible from typical distance. Brass is shiny and in good vintage condition with minor scuffs and surface scratches (see last photo). No rust or dents. Made in the United States.
The “Zig Zag” coffee table was designed by Milo Baughman for Design Institute of America circa 1980. A squared brass frame is highly polished with a circular base connecting to the circular top with two diagonal supports. Clear glass provides a window to the interesting base.
