A pair of late 19th century antique English solid brass candlesticks celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897. Octagonal base, turned stem with diamond patterned center. These are the Queen of Diamonds design, also part of this collection are: King of Diamonds, Diamond Princess and Diamond Prince. Stamped on the bottom side reading: “The Queen of Diamonds”. There is some wax build up that is preventing the push up mechanism to work. Natural patina, not polished.
