20th Century Mottahedeh Painted Beige & Gold Tole Planter French Urn Centerpiece

This decorative Mottahedeh tole urn, mounted on a pedestal, features an oval-shaped bowl with a pierced, decorative border. It makes a perfect statement piece for an entryway, whether displayed on its own or filled with a dry flower or branch arrangement. Decorated with a gilt-painted geometric pattern of feathers and stars in gold, silver, and black on a mottled beige ground, this urn is marked on the underside ‘Mottahedeh Design, Made in France.’ In very good condition with minor imperfections typical of tole, as shown.
