Vintage Design
Partitioned wooden plant stand designed by Ludvík Volák for Dřevopodnik Holešov in the 1960s. Dřevopodnik Holešov was founded in 1958, and it specialized in creating high-quality wooden furnishings. Their most well-known item was this wooden stand in which the shelves form an interesting geometric composition suitable for placing a variety of different-sized plants. This particular piece is made from steam-bent beech plywood with an ash veneer. The finish is slightly damaged in some places, which can be seen in the photos.
