Vintage Coffee Table by Isamu Noguchi, 1980s

The sculptor and designer Isamu Noguchi defined Coffee Table as his best design furniture – it recalls the biomorphic sculptures in bronze and marble created by the artist in the same period, translating their characteristic shapes into a sculptural piece of furniture.‎ The top of Coffee Table, made of a sturdy glass sheet, rests on two identical wooden elements, positioned at right angles.‎ This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
