Late 19th Century Antique American Ash Dresser With Dressing Table Mirror

Vintage ash chest of drawers with attaching swivel mirror top piece. (Top piece detaches for transport, and dresser could be used without it.) This spacious dresser offers fantastic storage, and the dresser includes (4) detachable wheels to facilitate moving. Decoration including detail on fronts of dovetail drawers and unique carving at top of mirror may have been inspired by the Victorian Eastlake movement, yet this piece is not as heavy as typical Eastlake items.
Purchased and refinished by current owner decades ago, its recent life has spanned from NYC to Boston apartment living, before becoming a great children’s bedroom piece.
