Charming, silver plated brass bouillotte candle stand with a deep red tole adjustable shade. The shade is painted with two narrow, dark brass bands. It is of a classic Louis XVI design with a lovely engraved base and acanthus leaf design around the rim. The candle can stand freely on the base or be held in place with wax.
